SSRS – Refresh the report at a set time

I created dashboards using SSRS that include graphs, key performance indicators, and other business KPIs in my previous organizations. Wide-screen televisions throughout the call center, back office, and management office showed them during business hours. There was a  requirement to refresh the data every 5 minutes.

Simply entering a value in the “AutoRefresh” report property in the report properties section will accomplish the above-specified requirement.

The settings won’t be refreshed because “AutoRefresh” has a default value of zero. This value is measured in seconds, so if you want to update the results every five minutes, set the AutoRefresh value to 300.
