I was asked by someone one day, “..why do you read every day and why do you want to learn every single day, when you know you will anyways die one day?”. To which, I just laughed at the question as I felt it was too silly. Over a period of time, I realized that the question isn’t as silly as it sounds. I started gathering points to debate over it.

The first answer that came to my mind was “Why are we living when we know we will die one day?”. I realized, my answer (or a counter-question) was sillier than the question.

I seriously started thinking this time, but not to answer someone else.

I believe, we need to learn and improve every single day and minute to be better versions of ourselves. We share & pass on the knowledge with current and upcoming generations so at least, they do not need to start from zero. The development, the technologies and the comforts that we are enjoying today is because of the generations before us. In order to contribute our knowledge the way our ancestors did, we need to learn.

The reason I train people and share knowledge is that I firmly believe in “Gaining knowledge is the first step to wisdom. Sharing it, is the first step to humanity.”
